Every week I run into someone who states my work is way better than yours or I do quality work not like what you sell.

mostly asked when i do not have the saw set up ..... but then again Moosie was present when i was asked that while scrolling a piece at the market...........

 

 

One thing i have never done is critized anothers scrollers work and told them their scrolling was inferior

To me that just shows someone needs to ruffle their own  feathers for the sake of whatever.......

If you are a master enter a contest for two years in every category if you win hands down in all categories for two years in a row i might consider saying you are a master

But when they say its a waste of time to enter I know they dont want someone else criticizing them the way they enjoy doing it to others.

A true Master never calls himself that its what the rest of the world calls him.

I am writing this due to another scroller coming in saying his work is well beyond our capabilities hes a member on some of the sites as he pointed out

Very Nice work.. as far as whose is better i will let someone else decide whose is better .....Do Not ever say My scrolling is better than yours but i wont enter it or it proves one thing you cant handle what others will say.

My only thing i can say on that is either Put up or shut up.

thats my main pet peeve.

I will never have the honor of competing against this person due to the fact I am helping host the contest so its a conflict of interest for me to enter.

I might however be pursuded to enter a customers choice category for the customers in general to decide who is better but i will never or would ever walk into another scrollers booth and put them down that to me is insecure .

If all the people who have came into my booth were to enter it would be fun to see cause they all state they are the very best in what they do .........
